You cannot build a master creation
If you build on a shaky foundation.
I mean...you can try. But we know what will happen, the more pressure is placed upon it.
We begin at the base: THE FOOT. Stability, strength, and fluid articulation are key. So much goes into the mechanics of one simple step--so much we rarely think about. Why? Duh, all the shiny adornments to layer on top! But where do I get my grace, athleticism and power? From my connection to the ground!
Next we move on to the ankle and knee in preparation for Relevé (tippy-toes) and Plié (bending the knees). One of the primary components for these bread-n-butter actions is our rooftop support: THE HIPS. Do you sit for hours at work? Binge too much Netflix? I do. Issues in the hips trickle down to damage the joints below as much as misalignment from the bottom. IT'S ALL CONNECTED.
