I've been writing more about the retreat, however, when I went to post the second installment, I realized that my YouTube channel was drastically out of date. Seeing as how Bloggy Post 2 includes the video footage I took while striding down the mountain--yes, STRIDING--that would require me to upload said footage to YouTube in order to link it here.
I am anal retentive. I don't like to document processes and then post them out of order. (Except when it suits a plot line for dramatic effect, of course...)
That means I need to edit and upload all the footage I took starting from Day 3 of this grand knee adventure. They say, "Don't stress about CREATING content. Just document what you do."
Ummmm...okay. After all, how often do we have the foresight to capture a miracle in progress? Am I spontaneously growing a new meniscus with the Phenomenal Cosmic Powahhh of my brains?
I dunno. Ask me in 2 years. But I'll tell ya what I do know. I'm spending hour after hour every day in intense healing meditations and it IS working.
MY BRAIN IS HEALING.
What happened to my knee on the mountain at the retreat was merely the overt, able-to-be-seen-and-quantified-by-strangers, "Whoooaahhh...WTF?" version of what is happening inside my skull. We'll get to that.
But in the meanwhile, I think it's important to show where I was before all this amazing stuff happened. Here is the video series of Days 3-10 recovering from my most recent injury. Not merely the physical contitions, but the mindset and the execution of one of the hardest things for me to do since Dain Bramage: speak my thoughts coherently. Enjoy!
